About the role:

The corporate development team has the responsibility to leverage acquisitions and strategic investments to deliver CoinDCXs growth across existing and future markets. CoinDCX strongly believes that our inorganic strategy will drive significant growth and accelerate our efforts in building for the crypto ecosystem globally - so this team is not just a ‘nice to have’, but a necessity.

In order to deliver on this, we are hiring individuals who are passionate about the crypto/web3 economy with experience in mergers & acquisitions, investments, strategy, due diligence & program management.

Key Functions,

• Research& Analysis: drive research of trends in the global blockchain landscape and develop thesis on areas of focus from an investment and/or strategic M&A pov.

• Sourcing & Relationship building: Build market maps and understand the participants. Build a pipeline and continuously source opportunities by building relationships

• Manage Diligence: help evaluate opportunities through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, financial analysis, customer/user reviews and technical diligence

• Drive decision: Marry strategy & our thesis to the opportunity and build a compelling business case. Collaborate & align with with business leaders & stakeholders on potential synergies

• Support execution: Manage cross functional deal teams and help negotiate deal terms & agreements

• Own integration: Project manage post merger integration

• 4-7 years of experience either as

          1. a member of an active corporate development/M&A or investing team in the tech industry

          2. an investment banker with digital/TMT deal experience

          3. an operator/entrepreneur with deep experience in the crypto ecosystem

• Passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain and a desire to use technology as an enabler and catalyst to change the world

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to absorb a lot of information and synthesize in a crisp manner

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create strong relationships with entrepreneurs, investors and the broader blockchain ecosystem

• Strong team player who takes initiative; value system based on passion, hard work, integrity and humility

• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in engineering or economics/finance with excellent academic credentials

Nice to have

• In depth understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including trends, themes, innovations etc.

• Engineering experience, preferably within the blockchain ecosystem
